This Week The Trend (Issue 41)
This week's picks include a dual-security camera, portable sprayer, and cheap earbuds.
How I’d spend $500: Baseus X1 Pro

What's better than one auto-tracking outdoor camera? Two. The Baseus X1 Pro features two cameras for dual zone tracking. When placed on the corner of a house, it's able to see both sides at the same time. I've been using the X1 Pro for several weeks. It's worked well to cover a previous blind spot in the yard, especially because the camera can auto-detect people and pets. Beyond spotting bad guys, it's a good record to check if the dog has gone to the bathroom recently.
Price: $151 (link)
Value Score: Good
The X1 Pro typically retails for $270. The $151 price is just above its all-time low in its relatively short time on the market so far. It comes with an auto-rotating solar panel. Over the past three weeks, the sun has kept the X1 Pro at 100% battery.
How I’d spend $150: Fanttik NB8 Portable Sprayer

If you have an area or item you're trying to clean that the hose doesn't quite reach, the Fanttik NB8 Portable Sprayer might come in handy. The portable water sprayer has an 8-liter water tank, a 40-minute battery life, and offers water pressure between 72 and 98 PSI. This particular unit probably isn't made for car washes, but it should be able to clean plenty of messes.
Price: $80 (link)
Value Score: Good
The NB8 sprayer is 38% off right now, bringing it down to $79.99 from $129.99. My favorite part is that it uses a USB-C port to recharge, so that same cable you use for your phone or laptop can do the trick here.
How I’d spend $50: CMF Buds Pro 2

There are lots of wireless headphones and earbuds, but not too many good, low-cost options. The CMF Buds Pro 2 has a lot of the features you would expect in more costly models, like ANC, over 40 hours of battery life, and six mics for good call quality. The coolest feature might be the dial on the case that can be used to customize the volume, tracks, or noise modes.
Price: $49 (link)
Value Score: Good
While the $69 retail price of the CMF Buds Pro 2 is respectable, the sub-$50 price (if you act quickly) makes these an even better value.
The winning pick: Baseus X1 Pro
The X1 Pro was easy to install, the solar panel is convenient, and the video quality is respectable for its price. The camera can support microSD cards for local storage if you're trying to avoid more subscription fees.
Are you looking for even more picks this week? Here are a few things worth considering.
An expensive pick: Eufy Robot Lawn Mower E15

A robot lawn mower might seem like a wild idea, but it's become much more practical and realistic in the last couple of years. I was thoroughly surprised at how good the Eufy E18 was when I tested it last year. The E15 is nearly identical, with a little less coverage range—still suitable for suburban yards. The E15 is 59% off its full retail price right now. While this mower has been on sale before, having it be under $1,000 makes it as tempting as ever.
Price: $950 (link)
Media pick: The Boroughs
The latest teaser trailer for The Boroughs doesn't give too much of the story away, but it does give a peek into the upcoming show's tone and style. Bill Pullman and Geena Davis highlight an impressive cast that comes from Stranger Things creators, the Duffer Brothers. I'm intrigued. It's on my watch list.
