The best wireless speakers to buy during Amazon's Spring Deals

Wireless speakers from Sonos, Soundcore, and more are on sale now.

Wireless speakers

The best way to listen to music out loud on the go is with a good Bluetooth speaker. Amazon’s Spring Deals event is a perfect time to save some money on a wireless speaker that fits your travel and budget.

In testing and writing about speakers for over a decade, I’m amazed at how good this category of products has gotten. You can get a reasonably capable Bluetooth speaker for under $50. And if you do want to splurge and spend a couple of hundred dollars, you can get one with tremendous bass, connectivity options, and lots of battery life.

The Soundcore Boom Go 3i is a recent standout for its compact size and loud volume. I compared it against the Bose SL Micro 2 and was pleasantly surprised with how well it kept up, despite its lower price point.

Whether you’re looking for a speaker for travel, home, or a mix of the two, there’s probably a good option that’s on sale now. More speakers will be added as they become discounted.

Sonos Roam 2

The Sonos Roam 2 is a fully capable Bluetooth speaker, small enough to pack for any trip. But it also includes Wi-Fi connectivity. That benefit means that it can link wirelessly with other Sonos speakers in your home. And it doesn’t get interrupted when you watch a video on your phone or move away too far from it.

On sale, the Roam 2 brings all the features and functionality down to a price that’s hard to ignore.

Soundcore Boom Go 3i

The Soundcore Boom Go 3i is small enough to fit in a carry-on, yet loud enough to fill a living room or patio. Beyond all the basics of just being a solid speaker, it has a lot of other features packed into the app that make it good for use as a sleep machine or megaphone.

If you need a little sparkle in your life, the Go 3i has customizable lights and a rubber hook that lets you attach it to nearly anything.

Soundcore Select 4 Go

While the Soundcore Select 4 Go won’t knock your socks off with its loud sound, its compact size, water resistance, and long battery life should make it a consideration for those who don’t have a lot of room to spare. The Select 4 Go’s low sale price could make it ideal for kids or as a secondary speaker to use in the shower.

Sonos Move 2

If you’ve had your eye on the Sonos Move 2, now is an ideal time to make the move, so to speak. When compared against the Sonos Play, it’s clear that the Move 2 still has a place as the company’s beefiest portable speaker. The deep bass and loud volume make it perfect for larger group gatherings, and it can easily adjust between being inside or outdoors.
